Information we collect
Account registration stores your name, email address, password hash and optional profile details such as your nearest supported city, gender preference and date of birth. The current signup does not request your postcode or live location. Passwords are never stored as plain text.
How information is used
We use account information to operate secure sessions, personalise relevant community discovery, support age-appropriate experiences and protect the platform from abuse.
Retention and inactivity
Ordinary private messages are removed after 30 days. A message referenced by a safety report is preserved so moderators can investigate the concern. A profile is hidden from member discovery after six months without a sign-in and is restored when its owner signs in again. In-app warnings are created before inactivity hiding.
Demonstration data
Development seed data is fictional and clearly labelled. It is kept separate from future production workflows and must not contain real credentials or private personal information.
Your choices
Profile details are private by default unless you choose a wider visibility setting. Signed-in members can preview privacy settings, download their account data, end sessions and request account deletion from the member dashboard.
